Ginette Porteous 

Ginette is a former investment banker with over 20 years of experience in risk management, structured finance, infrastructure debt management and structured investments. She has a Master of Commerce, Bachelor of Economics, Diploma of Financial Services (ASIC RG146) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ginette has spent much of her career in London where she has worked extensively on the structuring of project finance and infrastructure debt with a special focus on product innovation. This specialisation placed her in the unique position of concurrently engaging with both the global investor market and corporate borrowers in order to identify synergies and opportunities. She is skilled in strategic, sustainable investments, combining traditional financial and strategic analysis with the application of environment, social and governance criteria.

Ginette has worked with ANZ, Westpac, NAB and Fuji Capital Markets in various capacities including Head of Structured Products and Commodities, Head of Strategic Investor Solutions and Head of Sales and Distribution. She has been involved in the financing of clean energy projects since the early days of the market and has developed sustainable investor products based on a number of underlying assets such as sugar/ethanol, carbon credits and avoided deforestation.
