Frontier Impact Group assists Swinburne to procure 100% renewable energy


Frontier Impact Group is delighted to announce its successful work with Swinburne University of Technology, which will use 100% renewable energy from 1 July 2020.

Frontier Impact Group assisted Swinburne to achieve this great fantastic outcome, working with Swinburne's procurement team through all stages of the procurement lifecycle.

Assisting large organisations to improve their sustainability and achieve great financial outcomes is one of FIG's specialities.

Frontier Impact Group congratulates Swinburne for achieving 100% renewables by 2020. It has been a pleasure to be the advisory firm assisting Swinburne to meet this outcome, achieving quality results in an efficient timeframe. Swinburne is aiming to be carbon neutral by 2025 and this is a very significant step towards achieving this.

FIG has assisted Swinburne University to develop and implement a 100% renewable energy strategy, achieving an excellent financial and sustainability outcome for Swinburne.

  • Final negotiations with shortlisted tender respondents including commercial and technical contract elements

  • Refinement of contractual arrangements to ensure all electricity consumption was matched with 100% renewable energy production.

The FIG team drew on their many decades of energy experience to flexibly navigate and manage many of the complexities involved in sustainable energy procurement, to deliver an 100% renewable energy outcome.

With Swinburne’s existing skilled procurement team, FIG was able to work synergistically to provide complementary services that delivered timely, quality results for Swinburne.
